If you want to sail with your own boat with motor, you need to be registrated in the Gudenå river system. The licence plates you need for this can be rented at Destination Skanderborg, info@visitskanderborg.com or tel. +45 8669 6600. It costs DKK 30,-  for two weeks plus a deposit of DKK 300,- which you will receive back when you return the plates. However, if the licence plates are not returned within the 2 weeks, the deposit is lost.
