The vintage railway Bryrup-Vrads is run by a group of enthusiasts who are trying to maintain the old railway stock, buildings and installations as well as maintain the vintage railway operation on the Bryrup-Vrads section.
The railway runs on an approximately 5 km long section of the disused Horsens-Bryrup-Silkeborg Railway that was closed in 1968. The trip starts at Bryrup and goes through a wooded area passing the lakes Kvindsø, Kulsø and Snabe Igelsø to Vrads station. A very beautiful trip that is rightfully called "The most beautiful Railway in Denmark".
At Vrads station, you can enjoy tasty ice creams from the Ice House, drink coffee and eat freshly baked cakes on the platform or sit in one of the lovely old rooms and enjoy a great meal made especially for you from the best commodities. See much more on the website here.
