Terrassen Camping is located right in the middle of the Danish Lakelands, yet easy to access. We only have about 10 km. to the E45 motorway and approx. 3 km. to highway 15. A trip through Laven and down the Slangebakken that ends at the lake - yes, you really get the feel of being in Austria.

We are situated very high and have a magnificent view over Julsø and Himmelbjerget (the Sky Mountain) on the other side of the lake. Great opportunities to enjoy walks, bike rides, and sailing trips in the amazing scenery that we have around us.

Our pool is free to use, it is heated and overlooking the lake, it is open from mid May to September 1st.

It is possible to take the train from Laven to among other places, Ry (5 min.), Skanderborg (10 min.), Århus (40 min.) or Silkeborg (10 min.) - or maybe a boat trip between Ry and Silkeborg where you can visit Himmelbjerget among other things.

We also have things for rent – Are you going to the festival "Smukfest” in Skanderborg, you may stay in one of our cabins, caravans, or mobile homes, and use the train for transportation.

At the campsite we have the following activities:

We have a large green area with 2 big jumping pads, football pitch, trampolines, beach volleyball, moon carriageway, petanque course, cable car, campfire, playground for the smaller ones.

Putting golf - heated pool - canoe rental.

The place is also very suitable for among others family gatherings and car gatherings, as we have 27 rental units, distributed on luxury cabins, standard cabins, caravans, mobile homes.

Free wi-fi on the whole square. (1 free code per pers. - more can be purchased.)
